This bracket is sufficient to attach the solar panel to the gutter. However, this does not allow the panel to be tilted towards the sun. The plate should lie almost flat. It will probably work if you're lucky if your gutter is facing close to the south so the panel can be tilted. I modified it with the extension cord that came with the solar panel. The mod raises the solar panel above the slide as shown in the attached image. A difficult and attractive solution, but now the solar panel can be tilted up.
