This monitor is perfect when I'm traveling and still need to work without a full setup. It's lightweight and has decent brightness, which I consider a downside for other portable monitors. However, I haven't tried using it outdoors because it's not exactly what I need. Pair it with a portable tablet stand and you have a solid dual monitor setup for your laptop. The picture quality is the only thing I can fault, but it's still good enough for my use, ie I would program on my laptop and use a browser or additional applications on a portable monitor because the text is much clearer on my laptop . The monitor came well packaged with all the cables you need to connect the rig to your laptop and the built in lid doubles as a stand if you don't get a separate tablet stand. Overall very happy with the purchase and would recommend!
