Where I live there is either flooding or drought most of the year. By expanding my downspouts and punching pipes in strategic places I can conserve water, energy to pump water, and bushes I've planted around my house. These flexible tubes (both pre-perforated and solid) are of high quality and represent excellent value for money. You can also chain them together and run them along the foundation where the house ledge will keep your lawn/garden dry all the time. The stretched folds along with the shallower drop angle slow the water flow so it doesn't cause as much erosion at the end when it exits.
