I purchased this product for my NFT50 lettuce hydroponic system and hooked it up to my garden hose. When I first received the package and opened it up, this system was ready to go! I was a little confused at first because as the water went through the filters, the yellow tube was dripping off the membrane even after the valve was closed. I was told that's how it should be. I actually tasted the water after it went through the whole filtration process and it was so fresh and clean with a perfect pH of 7.0. I asked about accelerating the process of water passage a little faster than what appeared to be a drop from the blue tube. I was told the way it works could take up to 24 hours to fill my 100 gallon tank. To my surprise, it didn't take that long. I was told it was about 3 gallons an hour or so. Fill up my tank sooner than expected. I am a very happy customer! Yes, I recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, clean water. How to save money when buying distilled water! Just know that the water doesn't come out that fast, but it works as it should! SZ
