Review on Artcome 65 Oz Large Heat Resistant Water Carafe - Borosilicate Glass, Stainless Steel Lid by Flocka Parsons

I bought this jug 2 years ago and LOVE it! It was bought to have a glass jug that was heat resistant enough to pour hot coffee into. It works great. I read that it is heated on the stove. Maybe yes, but I think it's too fragile to try. Also, I have an induction cooktop and I don't think I should use glassware on it. I've never used it in my microwave and forgot if there are instructions not to use it there. Today I was looking for a pot for brewing fruit and vegetables or just a brewing tube. Then I realized that with the lid on it might work well to fill the water with things like fruit or pickles. I don't know if a tight seal is required to put the water in. If so, I could wrap the lid and top of the jar in cling film if needed. All in all this is a very functional jug made from quality products and I think it is beautiful too. It looks delicate so I hand wash it. And I like that I can put my hand in it. I'm glad I bought it and maybe one day I'll buy another one.
