Review on πŸ† Superior Performance and Accuracy with the Intercomp 360067 Liquid Filled Pressure Gauge by Jeff Westra

Buy - you won't regret it!

This is the best pressure gauge I have ever bought. And barring something catastrophic, this will probably be the last thing I have to buy. I can't count the number of sensors I've bought over the years. And one after another - some earlier than others - they all failed. The sliding type gives you an indirect reading of the pressure and is generally not very accurate or reproducible in most cases. And temperature and humidity play a role - dust, dirt, and oil or grease are killers of this kind. A circular pressure gauge with a locking mechanism will fail over time, as will push-button releases. I suspect that's why this intercomp sensor doesn't have a holding mechanism or button that could cause it to malfunction. Filling with liquid means the needle is dampened, further improving the accuracy and durability of the gauge. The ONLY thing I see ever needing maintenance is maybe changing the o-ring on the cartridge over time, but that will only happen because the gauge is supposed to last almost forever. But since I plan on dripping Krytox from time to time, the o-ring may last longer than me. Oh, and I've had ALL the issues with a missing seal on every valve stem I've used it on - my wife's older Altima, Subaru, my Mazda, John Deere lawnmower, unnamed wheelbarrow tire (no name because it has a third owner and it's been repainted at least twice), bikes, power wash tires, DR Power Kinetic log splitters, Aluma trailer tires, you name it. So yes, buy these. It's a keeper!
