Update: as of 06.05.21 the pump is still running. It didn't seem necessary, but I recharged the pump after five 5 gallons of water. The hose goes all the way down, sucking out every ounce of water. Excellent purchase. I am a water connoisseur and live in a confined space. When I was looking for water dispensers, I came across a top loading water pump. Had no idea they existed. It's as simple as it seems. Fill the pump all the way up, attach the hose and spout, the center portion of the 5 gallon cap will pop out allowing the hose to pass through it into the bottle. The presence of the cover helps the pump to be more stable under peak loads. I learned about it from YouTube reviews. 👌Video: Well, I had to hold my mug and phone while recording, but it instantly turns on with one touch and off with another. Some pumps will shut themselves off at 16 oz. I like to keep my cup more than half full, haven't tested that yet. Not sure about the battery life as I only use it for 24 hours. I'm in love, although I'll probably have to buy another one. I will try to update in a week after I know the battery life. I am not disappointed with this product! So easy to use and saves space.
