Review on Yellow Jacket 22983 SealRight Fitting by Ryan Hampton

Bought these for 2 reasons. #1 because low loss fittings are fitted I had 5 foot hoses with low loss adapters I am in HVACR school and we had a 2 minute subcool and superheat evaluation test When I screwed the low loss adapter onto a liquid line and it started leaking as I thought it was leaking in the system , I tried to tighten it quickly in rubber gloves Operation The gloves soaked up the liquid refrigerant (410A) like a sponge.When I took the gloves off I had frostbite on my left thumb.Fortunately it wasn't as bad as I feared. Second degree burns. Another reason was that the hoses were 2 feet shorter, the old ones got in the way.
