I love this case. It's different from other cases I've used in the past. I love this design. The screen protector is made of foil (not glass) and is part of the case. Since it's not glass, it fits and seals the screen very well, including the curved outer edges of the Note 8. On the other hand, I expect the film will eventually show scratches and signs of wear. In order for my old case to hold the phone, it put pressure on my glass covers which ended up bouncing off and cracking. Samsung designed the Note 8 in such a way, with curved outer edges, that the glass screen protectors are cumbersome and easy to remove (at least all the ones I've tried). The case fits the phone very snugly and the way the top and bottom fit together I don't think it will fall apart if the phone is dropped. It has a kickstand, but to keep it from being clunky, it's made out of fairly thin plastic, especially around the hinges, and can fall apart easily. But I still have no plans to use it. The case is smooth, the buttons are all very responsive. I'm not a fan of Bixby, the internal button for it is easily removed without damaging the case. The Note 8's charging trays and headphone jacks are protected by flaps on the case to keep out dust and lint. But they could be cut off if you didn't want them there.
