This black light is made of metal and glass so it's naturally heavy. The power cord is 42 inches long, without a wall/outlet plug, and has a switch on the cord. The metal frame adds approximately 5 cm to the measurements given in the description. to use, so I would suggest attaching it to metal and keeping it away from cloth and other combustible materials, just in case. it was helpful 😊
