This is a very nice storage box but I would recommend it for adults, it is sturdy, but if dropped on tile or wood, this will break. This also is not fully closed in, in the back, by the hinges, is a 1-2mm gap, so I would not use it to store loose candies. There is also no latch on it. I think this is best used on a writing desk, or somewhere that it will not get bumped off the table or moved often. I had hoped to use this for my child’s smalls, but have given it instead to my husband for his office. I posted measurements in the pictures. This is a nice box to organize your desk, and I would purchase it again for that use.
