Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ REDCAMP Wood Burning Camping Stove Folding: Stainless Steel Backpacking Stove for Hiking & Picnic Cooking Outdoors by Jessie Drury

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought both. i love both

I have tried many individual grills over the decades and none compare to this design. When I ordered the large "New Model" I was a bit concerned that they take out holes to raise and lower the coals (hey, that rhymes), but that's not a problem. Where I live real fire isn't always possible, so I use very little charcoal. These things seem made for Kingsford. One layer on the coal shelf (9 for small and 16 for large) and you're spot on. Small for 1 burger patty, 2 sausages, 1 small steak or pork chop, a salmon fillet, a large chicken leg. The large fits 2 hamburger patties, 4 sausages, a significantly larger steak or couple of pork chops (depending on the cut), and up to 4 salmon fillets (again, depending on the cut). You are not easy. Any backpacker in an ultralight Grammer will agree with you. But they are well made and durable so it seems they will last quite a long time. Given the price, I'm considering ordering a second set. Just in case I'm wrong.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Reliability
