Bought this bit to replace an expensive Leigh dovetail bit. The cheap built-in router rails that Lee sells break easily. When the Leigh Router E-7 broke it damaged my expensive Leigh dovetail. I've been looking for alternatives and this snippet is enough to use in all Leigh templates. The 1/4 shank requires a socket on the router to work, but works great with Leigh jigs. There are large shank bits on Amazon that are long enough to work well with Leigh templates. And they are much cheaper than Lee.
