I bought a 12" standalone monitor for occasional use with a Windows stick computer that I used to manage my wireless network. I never liked the stand that came with the monitor, so I looked for one that had a VESA mount but was short enough or flexible enough to easily store on a bookshelf. I tried 3 monitor stands before settling on this one. It's light, short, but has multiple height settings (so I can keep it on a bookshelf), a stable base, and most importantly, it tilts so I can adjust my viewing angle (I returned one of the other two stands because it didn't tilt). daily (too little) but for occasional use it's just perfect for my tiny monitor.
