Review on πŸš— Bell Automotive Universal License Plate Frame with Clear Cover - Black (12 x 6 inches) by Shane Hartford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Relatively cheap and good

This is a normal license plate frame and a transparent cover. This is the type of frame/cover you should be able to find at any auto shop, but for some reason there is only one on the shelf. Flexible plastic frame. Somewhat flexible, but I prefer it over similarly priced metal frames with sharp edges, peeling paint, and easy-to-see creases. The frame isn't wide, but it somewhat hides the state and logo on the license plate. The lid is not flat. This is a small bubble that seems to be able to withstand the impact of rocks without breaking. Also, it seems to wear out over time and turn yellow after a few years. But at this price you always get a new set. The license plate (at least the New Jersey number) is not embedded in the cover. The cover and frame are on top of the plate. This allows debris to get between the cover and the front of the license plate. Most if not all frame/cover combos I've seen are the same.
