I've tried basically everything to cook encrusted dirt off my stainless steel cookware but nothing has worked. The dirt I burned on my pots and pans laughed at the sponge. This is done quickly with Brillo Pads. I needed something much more aggressive. These are stainless steel scrubbers. They have thick large braided metal threads rolled into a ball.
