Update: After contacting the seller, we exchanged several emails and found a solution! Great communication and I'm sure I can pump the next body of water, whatever it is! Thanks for the great communication - this pump worked perfectly for what I needed. **************** ******************** Original Rating Below ********** * ****************** ********** Good: Good #1: Standard garden hose can be easily connected to the adapter Good #2: Operation was good easy Good #3: Pumped out quickly and consistently Good #4: No issues with small debris Good #5: Not clogged at all (we removed most of the leaves beforehand). The Bad: Problem #1: Removed a trap on the ground to clean it when finished to find the *rusty bolt* holding the propellers. Why not use higher quality stainless steel like the screws that hold the rest together? See Fig. Problem #2: Water has entered the case. There are no instructions for removing trapped water. Conclusion: Due to the rusty screw, I have to assume that the interior will also rust if it is stored with water. I don't think this will work in a future emergency. For a one-time purchase, throw it in the trash after one use, it's not worth the money. It worked well but is not marketed as 'disposable'. I will contact the seller and see what they ask me to do.
