My daughter is 5'5", thin/medium and wears a medium 8-10 on most styles/brands, but has to order a large size on other GownTown dresses. Except for this particular dress which is light blue with white polka dots. A big dress is too big, especially around the waist and bodice. But she likes this style, so she's coming back for the middle one. In other words, GownTown dress sizes do not match and this can only be trial and error. The fabric of the dress is a stretchy spandex blend which is comfortable BUT the polka dots are screen printed (taped), they are not part of the weave of the fabric. at these points, otherwise they will melt. So inside out or with a cloth between the iron and cloth or light steam is the only way.
