I have had trouble with pumping pain and swelling with multiple different flanges . A lactation consultant had even "correctly” sized me at a 24mm, yet I was still seeing a lot of puffiness and broken tissue. These inserts allowed me to not only fit correctly , but make pumping painless! I use a motif Luna and put a 21 mm insert in a 24mm flange . If you are hesitant on size , I consider myself to be fairly average and 19 would run a little snug. I am so happy I purchased these !
