Review on 🔌 Ultra-Slim SlimLine 2241 Extension Cord - 3 Wire, 8 Foot Length by Ans Brownlee

I bought an 8ft Slimline 2241 with a 3 way extension and it works great allowing my sewing closet door to open fully so I can slide my chair down and access the fold down serger shelf . Although you can't see in my photos that the wall on the left side of the cabinet is protruding, the cabinet is actually as far to the left as possible - flush with that area. I used to have a sewing machine, a clamp lamp, and a vertical lamp all connected to a regular extension cord that stuck out so far that I couldn't fully open the large double door that rolls on wheels. With this new slim style, the door opens fully and does not interfere. Very happy with functionality but deducted a star because, as another reviewer commented, the photo on the box shows a much more attractive connector head with a recessed connector, but not as deep as on the item itself. Another reviewer said that the box indicated that there was an insert meant to cover the unattractive pit, but the packaging did not. So she contacted Revane to ask for another one and again she got one without a cover. I interpreted this to mean that the box actually mentioned the existence of this cover. So when I saw my plug (which matches what's pictured in a cardboard envelope with a huge indentation - with a hole in the middle that makes it even uglier for some reason), I immediately opened the box, looking for the latch on the lid and a link to paste to cover an unattractive area. But no cover, no mention. And now I think the reviewer just suggested that the plug would match the photo and that the lid should snap over a giant hole. However. Maybe at this price they didn't think it was worth taking a new photo of the item hence the photo on the box. will match the item. But they have updated the photo to reflect all 3 outlets on the same page - many of the reviews I have read have commented on this. At least my fork hangs low enough on the wall that I don't have to look at the ugly fork head - and it gets blocked by the sewing closet door when in use. I would buy more for other rooms in our house if this plug didn't look so repulsive. yes i am picky
