Solid wood construction, no composite panel. Very refreshing!
I was very surprised to see a completely undamaged dresser in the box when it was delivered. It's also solid wood, not a cheap composite material. Only the legs should be screwed on lightly, no further assembly is required. The color of the wood is very neutral and should go with almost any wood texture or decor. The only downside is that the drawers are a bit cramped and there is little friction when opening and closing the bottom drawer. But a small problem for a well constructed chest.
