So my ignorance and limited research lead me to a small issue with this. Installation was pretty easy, 2000 F150 Lariat. It was wired correctly, but since I was new to this truck with a broken factory O/D switch, I incorrectly expected the "O/D Off" light to come on when I pushed the button on the dash , but it didn't, so I changed the interspersed blue and green outer wires as other reviews suggested. That's when I noticed that the light on the switch itself was on (and stuck). I swapped the pins back to "as supplied" and everything worked fine. As a shifter, it's a bit more "flexible" than the factory lever, which almost leans against the dash in the park, and the bright markings make it just as clear. not original but works perfectly. For the price I would do it again.
