Be aware that there are no instructions for activating the electric monitoring device. You will need to pull it from the body of the exerciser and insert one AAA battery. I haven't figured out how to get the monitor devise to clip back into the body. Also, one of the bolts came loose which caused a pedal malfunction. I had a very hard time trying to tighten it back up and had to find a better wrench. [My son had assembled it for me - I am an elderly mom who can't really get down on the floor near the exerciser.] After I got those issues fixed, I really love this thing and have increased my exercising time quite dramatically in only a few days.
