Sturdy jar, handy lids (less plastic smell than most)
We've gone from plastic to jar for food storage with BPA-free lids and it's a really handy size for leftovers, bags of chopped carrots and more more . The glass is durable and easy to clean. My experience with lids is positive - and after the first wash and airing, the "new plastic smell" dissipates quickly - or much faster than some other brands. (That's a big deal to me, you might not care.) I use it for refrigerated storage and it's nice to be able to heat the jar for leftovers etc. I have multiple sizes.
