The explosive power of component
Worked fine for about 4 seconds. and then the rear diode with the inscription "M2RD" burst and started smoking like crazy! You can see the burnt component and PCB damage in the attached photo. It was a component that came pre-installed on the board, so (at least on my part) there was no user error. I figured I could just go online and order a new one to replace it and then I'd know there was no such thing. I have no idea what this component is or what it does, but the whole kit is useless now because there is no way to order a replacement. I will not order these again.
