Pump worked fine the first time I used it. The next day the pump was completely dead and barely charging. When plugged into AC power, the green light will illuminate immediately, which should indicate the pump is fully charged. The pump is not enough to inflate a small swimmer in the pool. Very disappointing. To update. The company contacted me immediately after posting my review. They offered to send a replacement pump. I will update this review after receiving and testing the new pump. For now I've changed my review to 2 stars to reflect the company's quick response and willingness to rectify the situation. Last update - I had a spare pump for a few months. Although not very powerful, it is good for inflating and deflating large swimming pools. Holds a charge for a long time. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that you can only use the pump for 5-10 minutes at a time and then need to let it rest/cool down so it doesn't overheat. This is very inconvenient when you need to inflate/deflate more than 3 floats.
