The first was replaced within the first few months because it just stopped working. The new one had its own problems, first the handle on the dynamo crank snapping off at its base. I just glued it again. Now the LED flashlight doesn't work and I put BRAND NEW Duracell batteries in it. Although I bought an AC adapter with the correct voltage and amperage, the battery charger jack never worked; It also failed to power the device when plugged in, but it did get quite hot. I had hoped to be able to rely on it during power outages and storms, as a portable beach radio, for camping and outdoor activities. Looks like I'll have to buy a big brand model.
