These are the ones I bought to make pancakes for my kids and I think I'll make cookies one day. It was a bit difficult at the beginning because the cutter gets very hot. After a few tries I drizzled it with oil or butter, poured it in the batter and bam the pancake turned out perfect, I still got burned but it didn't matter much. I also use it for sandwiches, my kids love when I use them.
