This is my second force dryer, and so far I'm really enjoying this one! I have a bichon mix in short coat and a standard poodle in full coat. My wife is a professional groomer, so having a poodle in full coat requires constant grooming and maintenance. While this only has one heat setting it does not get overly hot on the dog or on the hose, so it is safe to use for even the general public. The airflow is adjustable, which allows a dog to ease into higher settings, as well as gentler work on the face or other sensitive areas.I must point out both my pups are used to loud machines, as they have been acclimated to grooming very early on. This is not for dogs who are not comfortable with loud noises or are unfamiliar with the grooming experience. But if you do get them used to it, this is not only a way to save time, but to have a cleaner, fuller coat as well!
