Is it stupid to love a sink strainer?
Maybe because my old sink strainers sucked, or maybe because I bought sink strainers that looked cool but didn't fit, but I loved these sink strainers. First, they match! I measured my sink before ordering. Second, they are much stronger than the sink strainers I just threw away. My old ones had a metal grille, and these have a metal plate with holes. Much stronger. Also, the holes are larger so I no longer catch tiny debris that doesn't need to be caught and just clogs the holes. These sink strainers catch just the right amount of food waste. Would I buy them again? Absolutely! But I don't think I'll be needing it for a long, long time as they seem to be built to last.
