Review on Computer chair Everprof Polo S for executive, upholstery: textile, color: gray by Mateusz Banasiuk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good and the price is reasonable.

During the period of self-isolation and remote work, I had to look for and order a computer chair on the Internet. It was not possible to come to any store and sit on different models. Therefore, I was looking for a chair with the most settings in the range of 10-12 thousand. The main search parameters were: under my height 180 cm, the presence of a headrest, adjustable armrests and preferably horizontal seat adjustment. Eventually Height adjustment is standard. Seat on plywood base with foam filler covered with black mesh. Subjectively, a little softer than average. It moves forward and backward by 4 cm. The back is curved under the lumbar lordosis. The lumbar support is adjustable in height within a range of approximately 5 cm. The backrest leans back and is fixed in three positions. The wheels are "covered" with soft plastic. Armrests on top are made of relatively soft plastic. Height adjustment range 7 cm. The headrest is adjustable in height 7 cm and inclination. When assembling the chair, Grover's extra washers remained. Screws and washers are different - it's easy to get confused. Personally, I had to use other screws (bolts), as in some places there was not enough thread length of the standard screws. Later I had to modify the chair for myself (see disadvantages) Functionally, the chair has good equipment and sufficient adjustment ranges. Sitting in it is quite comfortable and free. Not enough vertical back and uncomfortable lumbar support - maybe these are just disadvantages for me. The headrest is clearly missing a latch. The reliability of the chair is slightly doubtful and, given the backlash of some elements, I’m not sure that it will last more than 5-6 years (the service life is indicated in the instructions for 3 years). The mesh seat needs to be vacuumed periodically. It is not easy to shake off the crumbs from the cookies. This chair is not bad, but I recommend sitting for 5-10 minutes on it and on other models before buying to understand the pros and minutes not to modify it, as I did. Would I recommend buying it? Rather yes.

Pros
  • Adjusting the seat horizontally and armrests vertically was very useful to me. I consider them to be a great advantage of this model. The seat is comfortable enough. The mesh on the back will keep your back from sweating in summer. The wheels on the parquet ride quite softly. The armrests are moderately soft - the elbows are quite comfortable to rest against.
Cons
  • The back of the chair in the extreme raised state seemed to me very low. In this position, it is convenient to watch videos or listen to music, but not to work in any way. That is why I had to make oblique washers from M10 nuts with a grinder and put them under the bolts that attach the back to the base. Thus, the back became more vertical. Perhaps this is just my feature of working at a computer, but otherwise the chair would definitely not suit me. The lumbar support was a big problem for me. By "bulging" it is not regulated, so I had to remove it. The headrest that I dreamed about for so long turned out to be more of a neckrest. In the highest position, it turns from a slight effort of the head, and it does not have a lock from rotation. Because of this, I removed it and will finalize the fixation. The armrests are comfortable, but have some play. The seat on the base wobbles quite a bit. This is not very noticeable, but in the future it may become more loose. When rolling from place to place, it rattles a little with wheels and a bed.
