Review on Zebra LI3678 SR Ultra Rugged Cordless Vibration by Darrin Lucas

I had an old LS3578 sensor in the delivery department at work and needed to replace it. I found out the replacement was the new Zebra LI3678 and did some more research before ordering it. The price for Revain was great and I knew I needed something to keep my shipping department running. The new scanner has a wider laser and vibrates when scanning a barcode. The vibration takes a little getting used to, but it's nice to have instant feedback to know you've successfully scanned something. Set up was easy, it was plug and play and I love that it included a power supply like my last LS3578. no, and relied on a USB connection for power, which meant the computer had to be awake to charge the scanner. Once I connected the cables, I opened up the manual to a page of preloaded barcode 'codes' and scanned the auto carriage return and we were ready to go. The battery life is phenomenal. My co-workers leave it off between charges, and we're getting 2 weeks per charge at the moment if we're working a full-day shift with intermittent scans. Overall this scanner is great for industrial use, I use it in a factory warehouse. and the scanner is solid and reliable. This is a great scanner for business/industrial use.
