Review on AUTOHAUX Exterior Covering Volkswagen 2009 2012 by Ali Mitchell

Product arrived late and does not fit as mentioned in other reviews (lesson learned). These covers are not designed for VW USDM vehicles. If you have a Dremel or similar tool you will need to remove a bottom tab on each side and then shave off the two inner locking tabs (inside the tab) so it can actually grab the hook to stay in place. I think it also needs glue to secure it as other reviewers have mentioned. Just buy from ECS or DAP. Forced to throw them away. I'll upload a photo later. Addendum: I posted my old covers that have been painted multiple times. The difference in pouring between each cap is visually noticeable. Asian mirror tabs are much thicker and will not snap together properly, this is not a factory fit. You can see on the cover of the X AutoHaux that there is a tab on the front of the cover that needs to be cut off first. After cutting the tab, the lid can now snap into place, but the retaining tabs will not connect. The two locking tabs had to be shaved off to correct the fit so it could snap into place. If you have the tools and the patience, go for it! If you don't want a headache, fast delivery and better quality, buy elsewhere.
