Definitely worth the small extra cost of a gate for children and pets to avoid dangerous tripping hazards!
Almost never ordered. I figured the wall cups that come free with the gate should do the trick. Why spend money even if the price is very cheap? But after reading the reviews I decided not to stop there and order these wall protectors. I'm so glad I did, they allow the gate to be fully pressed to the ground while the round cups that came out with the collar prevent tripping on the ground. cash when passing through the open gate. Since my husband and I are older, there is a greater risk of tripping. The safety factor alone is more than worth the small price! I also appreciate the fast shipping, they got here earlier than the gate even though the gate was ordered a few days early. Therefore, they were available to us exactly when we needed them.
