Bought a freestanding unit. 250 watts 23 lbs = unfortunately max heat is 120 F. Excellent construction. The thermostat takes some time to understand. Three buttons. Medium - turn on or put into standby mode. The thermometer-like button lets you choose from 5 heat settings when you press it. The remaining button, when pressed, displays up to 5 levels of either up to 5 hours of heating or up to 5 heat levels. Solid blue is disabled. Illuminated in red. Works best with two folded towels. Surprisingly, however, the global shortage of chips on the thermostat is making itself felt. This is actually my second device. Was great initially but came back when it was out of service. backordered. The new block also does not heat up. Maximum reading 120F with instant cooking temp. However, the bathroom stays dry and about 5 degrees warmer than other rooms at maximum temperature. So I keep it. Another customer also had a heating problem. I'll check back later to see if the issue has been resolved. If they fix it, I'll buy a third unit. Great looking unit.
