
Worked on my old Viper system. The original remote was 474v. I have an Escalade 05. It took me a hell of a long time to get into programming mode but I finally did after getting my car out of park mode. Did this by opening the door, then quickly turning the key, then turning off and pressing the valet button. It chirped. As soon as I heard the chirp, I was able to put it into programming mode. I did the same thing again without removing the key (open the door/turn the key quickly/press and hold the valet button (once or twice)/hear a beep/press and hold the lock on the remote/listen another beep / release both / ignition key off / one more beep / it worked.) MAKE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS! Now I just can't get the remote boot to work, but I'm not even sure if my system has it. I was told that when I bought the car, but who knows. I'm glad to have a remote control again. One day I'll put it somewhere and see if they can get it to work.
