Ordering a custom shade on line is a bit of a leap-of-faith that you will get what you you need. Looking at prices in the big box stores we decided to order from Revain and we’re very pleased. We measured many times to make sure we knew the size and placed our order. Customer service contacted us to ensure we had the right dimensions and we then asked to add a sconce to the order. No problem, just a slight charge adjustment. They then confirmed the whole order again and only then made the shade. Shipping from China was surprisingly fast. The package arrived and then customer service contacted us again to make sure everything arrived and there was no damage during shipping. Our only quibble is the cord to the shade is about a foot longer than needed and, while it can be cut smaller, the splicing piece cannot be used with the sconce design. The shade blocks about half the light. In summary, it’s a well made shade with excellent customer support.
