Solid stainless steel precisely machined plate.Blade design being a straight rod (and not L-shape blade like Veritas or Lie-Nielsen) makes it extremely easy to sharpen using honing jig, which you are already using for your chisels and hand plane blades. So you get precise and consistent sharpening.Adjustable side fence comes in the box, so no need to buy additional accessories.They are now giving quick cam action lock lever along with alternative wing nut to tighten the cut depth adjustment.Overall Cowryman is a winner.
