Where to start? Although they are considered "plug-ins" they are not pre-wired and are actually set up so that you can run the cable. You have to secure the cable with wire nuts, so I wouldn't recommend this for those afraid of minor wiring. If you just want to hang them on the wall, look elsewhere. The bracket you need to wall mount assumes you have direct wiring, so the backs of the mounting screws and ground screw dig into your wall. The rings that hold the blinds are too big causing them to warp. And the last straw when I gave up was the overly long mounting screws that attached the bracket to the bracket. There was another set of mounting screws, but they were misthreaded (probably to attach the bracket to my non-existent PSU since I didn't have direct wiring). Of course I could buy shorter ones, but I'd spent enough time getting them to work I just sent everything back.
