The light is small and appears to be quite well made. As long as you're not trying to charge something designed for USB-C class output. In good light, the thing works great. I've used it to charge external batteries, phones and other small devices with smaller batteries. And it seems to charge just as fast as a standard USB-1a outlet. Just most small items and even some older phones and smaller devices use between 1 and 6 watts when charging, so that's enough for these things. It seems most devices are outputting around 500-1000mAh per hour. I recommend this in combination with a pair of 5000mah backpacking or backpacking power banks like so many do these days. I have less than $10 on sale. Add that to the price of $12-$15 for two power banks and one nomadic or, heaven forbid, homeless person. At least they have access to enough power to charge their phone lights or whatever else they need to make life a little easier.
