Review on πŸ”§ YukiHalu Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit - 3-in-1 Small Size with Light, Timer, and Wireless Receiver - Ideal for Ceiling Fan Lamp by Paul Tucker

The remote control batteries did not touch the terminals Design flaws Remote control housing Bypass working

The remote control and receiver are reasonable and easier to install than the original in size. BUT it didn't work at first. I know I installed it correctly and checked all my connections. This is a remote control switch. So if the remote control doesn't work, the ceiling fan won't work either. I noticed that the remote control doesn't light up when a button is pressed. I tried different types of AAA batteries but it didn't work. I checked each set of batteries, they were all fine. I examined the inside of the remote's battery compartment and found that the plastic casing can prevent the batteries from being fully connected to the battery posts and VIOLA! get in touch. I cut out part of the plastic case so the battery posts have full contact with the batteries and everything works fine. I almost sent it back with disappointment that all the installation work was useless. So if you decide to buy this be careful, the remote terminal MUST touch the batteries roughly and you will be fine. The workaround for design bugs works fine.
