Review on Enhanced Recovery with Premium Compression and Prevention by Ben Barrington

I was born with a clubfoot and had a lot of surgeries as a child so one foot is smaller than the other and the way I had the corrective surgery naturally made my foot weaker than the other. They took a bone behind an ankle and placed it where my Achilles tendon was supposed to be on that foot. As a result, my foot doesn't flex properly or the way the foot should. I do exercises that I remember from my childhood, but I need a very supportive brace that will provide the right amount of pressure and also correct the position of the foot (to keep it straight). It often hurts for a variety of reasons, sometimes for no reason, so you always have to put on braces. I had the perfect braces but they seemed to be gone (I'm pretty sure the kid saw them and threw them away thinking they were junk) so I had to look for another braces and they weren't easy to find. . I tried to find someone with my problem but I couldn't find a single review mentioning a person who was born with clubfoot. I finally chose it due to the lack of negative reviews compared to others, as well as the fact that it covers most of the foot, ankle and even part of the lower leg (not too much). I put the brace on as soon as it arrived in the mail as I needed relief from a pain I had been battling for about a month despite the exercises I was required to do. I slipped open toe like a toe and was immediately frustrated because the pressure wasn't enough in general, let alone in the specific areas I needed (arch, ankle, top of foot, top/side of foot). I could tell there was compression and it's comfortable. However, before I took it off and decided to return it, I decided to try the wrap piece that came with the kit and see if it helps put the necessary pressure on my specific areas of focus on my foot. AND IT DID IT! In fact, I can control how tight or loose the compression is by using a bandage, and I can make sure it's wrapped in areas where I need pressure since it's a loose bandage, not secured . in certain areas on the braces. It comes with 2 suspenders which are great and comfortable and perfect for my small skinny leg. I see that almost everyone in the house can use this brace if they have injured their foot or ankle in any way, so that's a plus. The kit also includes this kinetic tape (many of its strips). I had never used it before so wasn't sure how it would be used or why I would even need to use it, but luckily it came with instructions for both the tape and the braces! I would definitely recommend these braces to anyone, especially those with the same issues.
