I am shocked. I hired a professional cleaner to deep clean the mess in the house I had just moved into and had him try to get rid of the hard water stains in the shower. When I went to the bathroom to see how he was, he literally scraped the glass of the shower with a blade, trying to wash off the hard water. I told him that his progress was good enough and that he shouldn't waste his time as there are bigger fish to fry. But that's a story for another day. After about a month the shower glass started to really bother me. Hard water stains everywhere. Indeed fogged glass at this point. So I decided to give it a try after seeing some impressive reviews. My people! Listen to me when I tell you this shit WORKS. It takes patience and a bit of strength/stamina, but it changed the game. Too bad I didn't have a good picture because the results are insane. What you need: - Hard water stain remover (yes) - Steel wool pads (grade 0000) - I've used Red Devil so many times - others have mentioned it here. - Gloves - Two microfiber towels - one wet and one dry. Application: Wearing gloves, apply a small amount of stain remover directly to the steel wool. I've worked in small areas. Starting with a large area, I found that spots were missing here and there, so instead of going back, I just worked with smaller areas. Make sure the jar is dry, make small circles on the jar and apply an appropriate amount. Print. If your shower has sliding glass it might start to wobble a bit so I had to use my other hand to keep it still. Continue working with the area, go back to the areas you have already touched. trust me, just do it. Once the solution starts to turn opaque, you're close, but keep rubbing! If the hand feels like it can fall off and the solution is almost transparent, then everything is fine. Now take a damp microfiber cloth and wipe the spot. - Now use a dry microfiber and dry the area. - BE SURPRISED.
