I bought a lot of these drives as gifts and they offered free Acronis data backup. It's blocked and useless. Had to threaten Pny just to get the keys. PNY is terrible about warranty coverage, make sure you get your receipt and check in within 90 days or PNY will void your warranty. The drive is slow after a few minutes of copying files. PNY customer service is terrible. Update: Runs great for around $40. I open one I bought on ebay and it's a board and not m.2 like other drives. Discs also write quickly at first, but then slow down. They work well on Raspberry Pie media servers and seem to have a major bottleneck. Customer service is still terrible and adding copies is a big joke.
