I've never spent more than a few dollars on a mouse pad. I thought they were all the same. BUT! I spent a lot more to try this mouse pad and I'm so glad I did. The wrist rest is still very comfortable even after long hours. The mat itself is smooth, my mouse doesn't get stuck when I move it. And I think the most important feature is the "sticky" back. You can take it and rearrange it however you like. But only with daily use it does not move. This works great for me since my mouse sits on the side shelf off the keyboard tray. I've always lost my mouse or my mouse pad or both. Since using it it stays in place and keeps my mouse where it needs to be.
