Old Lids Outperform New Lids

We have the same Pyrex storage set we bought years ago and love it. We decided to switch from plastic storage to glass so we bought more but were disappointed with the quality of the lids. They are not as flexible and have started to split up. The glass also seems to be "stickier" than the old ones. When stacked, the shells stick together and are very difficult to separate. Maybe it will go away as they are used more.
