Glass jars are 2 cups thicker and the lids only fit these new jars. We have an old set of Pyrex glass jars with thinner walls and the new lids don't fit. I picked up an old 2 cup glass jar tonight and the new lid popped right off! Older Pyrex-2 cup lids are too big for older, thinner-walled Pyrex-2 cups.

The description clearly states that the lids are dishwasher safe when used on the top rack of the dishwasher. This is not a correct statement. Glad I only put one of them there. It's useless - so now I don't have a lid for one of the glass bowls. It would be nice to find a replacement for him. Very disappointed - the mention of the dishwasher should be removed from the description.

We have the same Pyrex storage set we bought years ago and love it. We decided to switch from plastic storage to glass so we bought more but were disappointed with the quality of the lids. They are not as flexible and have started to split up. The glass also seems to be "stickier" than the old ones. When stacked, the shells stick together and are very difficult to separate. Maybe it will go away as they are used more.

Excellent pyrex glass set. I've searched the web for a while to find the best deal and I think I found it! The pyrex is high quality, the lids fit very well and we've used them in the freezer, microwave and fridge and they haven't warped. The glass is good quality too, thick and I think it's healthier than plastic utensils. We've been using them for a few months now and I really like them so great value for money!

Initially I was very satisfied with this set. I think it will be a good alternative to plastic containers. This product has been proven wrong. While I had no issues with the jar, the lids were very flimsy. Even when I seal the container with no food (hot food) on it, the lids are not whole and loose, causing leaks. Also the lids are very cheap quality, I don't understand why this product has such good reviews. Absolutely not worth your money. (didn't even last a month)

They are good for storing food and heating in the microwave. You don't travel well unless your food is firm. Soups, stews and casseroles or sauce dishes such as lasagne and spaghetti run out in the lunch box. Since they are not airtight, I recommend using plastic wrap or a crimping/sealing product on the container to ensure the lid seals tightly. Since then I've found and bought airtight containers that don't require any other product to easily transport the lid easily enough.

After leaving a few for food sharing and picnics, I threw away most of my plastic containers and used them for food storage. They are superbly made and sized just right for leftovers, plus they can be reheated in the microwave and are easy to clean with no stains or residue. Even better no disintegrating plastic particles ending up in your food, I've had this brand for a few years now and have just bought more.
