Review on Fisher-Price Linkimals Smooth Moves Sloth: Interactive Educational Toy with Music, Lights, & Motion for Babies 9 Months & Up by Richard Rosa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fun and educational

Sloth helps baby learn numbers, letters, etc. and have fun. Other Linkimals in the same language* will connect automatically if turned on at the same time. The sloth shakes its head and moves its arms, blinking and making noises. The volume can be adjusted with a slide switch (loud/quiet/off). The instructions don't explain the cryptically recessed button that breaks links (apparently a reset button). To reconnect, simply turn off and on the Linkimals you want at (approximately) the same time. The packaging was easy to open. Simply cut the tape on the two flaps holding the bottom of the box; Open the bottom (keep the instructions inside); and rotate the three cams counterclockwise a quarter turn. Sloth is free! Sloth uses 4 AA batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Branded alkaline batteries are included and preinstalled. A Phillips screwdriver is required to open the battery compartment to prevent baby from accessing the batteries. I also have Moose and Llama. They connect easily. If you activate one, the others also react with light and sound. Sometimes they even sing together. Highly recommended!
