To be honest I bought this because I thought it would look great on my new yarn stand. It was also a hell of a deal given the variety of colors and the fact that it's basically 3000 miles of thread. The colors are beautiful and it's pretty easy to sew with - very few fraying issues and won't stick to my machine. The only downside is that it's not very strong. As such, it's great for hemming and light stitching, but isn't ideal for anything that requires a strong, durable stitch. Good price.
