So, the reason I bought bamboo toothbrushes is because I just read an article on how much plastic we use and is accumulating around the world. Living on a boat, I know this is true because I see many of the items: plastic bottles, straws, to go cups, packaging, etc., float by every day. There's so much trash and I live on a relatively clean waterway. One of the things the article mentioned were replacing our plastic toothbrushes with bamboo ones. I had never heard of such a thing and decided to put my money where my mouth is, literally.After a week of use, I've enjoyed the WowE toothbrushes and would definitely recommend giving them a try. The only differences I've noticed are the texture of the handle being bamboo (sort of feels and "tastes" like a tongue depressor; but, it's just different and not anything bad: it just takes some getting used to), and, the bristles are a little softer than I'm used to. Otherwise, it's another toothbrush; but, a toothbrush that won't contribute to our trash problem.
